Cat Titles - What are they?

You’ve received your WinterForest pedigree certificate from your feline’s registry and are wondering, what are those large capital alphabets ahead of the names?

The Alphabets are acronyms for the following: ( we have only compiled those relevant to our pedigree certificates)

C.H. - Champion
G.C/ G.R.C. / G.C.H / Gr.Ch. - Grand Champion
D.G.C. / D.G.C.H. - Double Grand Champion
M.G.C. / M.G.CH. - Master Grand Champion
Q.G.H. / Q. G. CH - Quadruple Grand Champion
S.G.C. / S.G.CH. - Supreme Grand Champion

G.I.C. - Grand International Champion
I.W. - International Winner
I.C - International Champion
E.C. - European Champion

B.W - Breed Winner
D.M. - Distinguished Merit
O.D. - Outstanding Dam
O.S. - Outstanding Sire

N.W. - National Winner
R.W. - Regional Winner
W.W - World Winner

The awards given are proof of work and conformity to standards. The highest honor usually given to any cat is Supreme Grand Champion. What this means is that the cat has been awarded Grand Champion multiple times in a span of 1 show season.
